Join the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana for Empty Bowls 2017
Join the Food Bank on Saturday, January 28th for a family friendly lunch event and support the Food Bank’s fight against hunger in our community.
A sampling of signature dishes from multiple area chefs will be served, accompanied by music, activities for kids and adults, and a silent auction. With the price of an inclusive event ticket ($30), guests can choose a beautiful bowl crafted by a local artist to take home as a reminder of all of the empty bowls in Northeast Louisiana. There are also event only (no bowl) tickets available for $15 for those who would just like to come and enjoy the food and activities. View a selection of the bowls that will be available below:
The goal of Empty Bowls is to raise awareness for hunger while also raising critical funds to provide food assistance to the 1 in 5 people struggling with hunger in Northeast Louisiana.
