I’d like to extend a very heartfelt “thank-you” for not only making the holidays, but all of 2016, a little brighter for our friends and neighbors in Northeast Louisiana. Last year, with the help of loyal volunteers, the generosity of our donors and the hard work of our agency partners, an additional 500,000 meals were provided to our community (for a total of 4 million meals)!
Food is not only a basic need, but it is the foundation of a healthy life. Together we can do so much to improve the lives of families who live right here in our community. When there is hunger in our midst, the whole community suffers. Thank you for being part of the solution and joining in our fight against hunger. Together, we will ensure that no senior, no child, no veteran – no one – will go to bed hungry in Northeast Louisiana. Together, we can build a stronger and healthier community.
P.S. Please help us spread the word that hunger is solvable. We invite you to stop by and visit the Food Bank, and learn more about the issue of hunger and our efforts to feed those in need.
